Fused Glass Jewellery for Beginners Day Course

A whole day (between 10.00 – 4.30pm) exploring fused glass on a small scale to make your own collection of individual jewellery.

Expertly taught by Eleanor, you will learn to cut, combine and layer coloured, transparent, opaque, and dichroic glass, as well as your now pick and mix in our “sweet shop” of glass media, millefiori, glass stringers, vitrigraph, paints, frits and inclusions tall available for you to play with.

All materials are provided, as well as a starter pack of jewellery findings and your own pack of the best 2-part epoxy resin to secure your glass cabochons to your findings once they have been fired and sent to you.

We will also explore different effects achievable at different firing temperatures, and Eleanor is happy to answer questions on small kilns and to offer advice should you decide to pursue your new small scale fused glass skills in your own time.

The class is limited to 6 people, and attendees need to be over the age of 16 years, or over 12 years if accompanied by a fee paying adult also attending the same class.
